We are all rightly proud of our beautiful village church. Dating from the 13th Century, William Morris called it “The most beautiful country church in all England”.

Whether you are a regular worshipper, like to attend church services on special occasions, or enjoy the building from a distance, it is your village church and it needs your support if it is to survive for future generations.

It costs approximately £135 per day for the general upkeep of the building and to pay Canon Jenkins’ salary. The church cannot survive with the support of just a few villagers, it needs financial support from everyone.

If you would like to donate money to the church on a regular basis, please contact the Treasurer, David Rivett, who can send you the relevant Gift Aid and Bankers Order forms. Telephone 01483 200098 or e-mail david@rivettmeads.plus.com.
